    As I was scrolling on Instagram at the end of last As I was scrolling on Instagram at the end of last week, I came across a woman who’s wise words resonated deeply with me. across a woman who’s wise words resonated deeply with me.   “YOU are the special occasion.  Get dressed up and look fabulous for YOURSELF!”      I sometimes speak to my clients about this exact thing.   Wear the shoes/the blazer/the dress!     Use the purse/the jewellery/the perfume!     I know that wearing that silk scarf can sometimes feel a bit like eating takeout pizza on your good china on a Wednesday evening but YOU truly are the special occasion.     So treat yourself that way!  Do it for you - however that looks!  I promise that it will lift your mood and your confidence.     And while you are getting dressed, pour your sparkling water into your crystal tumbler!  It’s too beautiful to be gathering dust in your cupboard. With Black Friday right around the corner, please think twice before filling your closet with items just because they are on sale. If if you wouldn’t necessarily buy it at full price, think about whether it deserves a spot in your wardrobe. One of the first things that I do with the women that I work with is shop their closet, to create the foundation for the looks that they are wanting to achieve.
